Hawaiian Sling Wood Shooter

This  sling is made of wood, with a latex rubber tube attached with nylon line to the base.  Hawaiian slings are a primitive design, comparable to an underwater bow and arrow.  In the Bahamas, this is the only legal tool to spear fish underwater.  A technically challenging way to spear fish, this method takes both patience and accuracy while hunting fish.
