Engineering:
The tool body is made from
aircraft quality 6061 billet (block) aluminum.
Internal hardware is made of a durable corrosion-resistant 303 stainless steel
for salt and fresh water use.
Design:
The unique patented design of the cutter-head provides a reducing-triangle
cutting action which
prevents braided lines, mono, and stranded cable from fraying. This keeps
the line and cable intact and
allows an easy and sure fit into a cable crimp. It does not leave any
strands sticking out to cause injury
to your hands.

Mono Fishing Line: cuts from 2-lb test
to 600-lb test. Cuts smooth with no rough edges.
It will cut NEXT to the knot, and cuts on the left inside only, allowing you to
place the
tool next to the knot. Squeeze the handle of the tool and the cutting tube
slides into the
cylinder and cuts the line as close as you want...first try!
Wire and Cable: Will
cut single or multiple strand wire (7/7) and cable up to 600-lb test.
A Tri-Shear will not fray or separate the ends of the wire so it quickly and
easily fits back
into a crimp and does not leave any strands sticking out to cause injury to your
hands.
A perfect cut and fit every time.
Kevlar and Spectra Lines: This tool will cleanly cut the hardest of all
lines the first
time every time.... From light fresh water 10-lb test to heavy duty salt water
lines of over
200-lb test without any problems, every time.
