Why don't trolling lures look more like real fish?
Well, now they do!
Finally - a bait that looks just like a small "schoolie" dolphin and swims realistically at trolling speeds up to 10 knots. The patent-pending design of the Dancin' Dolphin uses engineered hydrodynamics to keep the 15 inch long bait running upright just below the surface with a slight wandering, swimming action. The cylinder at the back of the tail provides a lifelike side-to-side kicking motion that big game predators just can't resist. Place the patent-pending, vortex-producing Boogie Ball Lure Action Disk on the line in front of the lure and watch it produce a splashing, bubbling smoke trail that will attract all the right attention.
What about hookups?
The business end of the Dancin' Dolphin is also carefully engineered for maximum success. The hook rides low and to the rear of a unique belly slot that will accommodate J-hooks up to 16/o and Circle-hooks up to 24/o with either single or double-hook rigs. A specially placed lower fin guards against picking up grass and debris. Once a fish is hooked, the Dancin' Dolphin slides up the leader and safely out of the fight.
