Penn's exclusive Fathom-Master drag system allows for one hand operation when lowering or stopping the downrigger weight. Drag system lets cable play out if the weight snags on the bottom. Crank handle does not turn while the weight descends. Fathom-Master downriggers come pre-installed with Penn's easy-to-rig Tru-Trac cable hardware - simple to remove and re-install without crimping tools.

• Strong, corrosion resistant components, including a high strength glass reinforced polycarbonate housing, spool and base, and a gold anodized aluminum boom.
• One piece, molded boom tip that automatically swivels to track the downrigger weight.
• Long handle lever allows for easy 1-to-1 ratio cranking, while the oversized spool speeds the return of the weight topside.
• Gear-driven cable footage counter displays the depth of the weight in large, easy-to-read numerals.
• Fathom-Master downriggers come pre-installed with Penn's easy-to-rig Tru-Trac cable hardware - simple to remove and re-install without crimping tools.
• Includes 200 ft. (61 m) of 135-lb. (62 kg) test stainless steel cable.
